Today marks the official opening of our office in Basingstoke, marking a new chapter for Servium defined by service excellence, ahead of our 15-year anniversary in May.
More than simply a new location, this hub represents our commitment to investing in people and growing our own talent, with a dynamic new sales team that will allow us to extend our services capability to even more customers.
Bridging the gap
Keen to offer our customers the best experience possible, we always aim to get to the heart of their challenges in order to significantly improve their outcomes.
We know all too well that many organisations struggle to achieve better economies of scale when it comes to creating, developing and running their IT infrastructure and systems.
This new investment in our service capability, combined with our well-established partner ecosystem, can help alleviate the skills gap at speed, while minimising impact to our customers’ operations.
Hello Basingstoke
Basingstoke was the perfect location for our new hub of learning and innovation. Chosen for its fantastic commuter links as well as its emerging status as a tech hub, we were able to call on a very strong local talent pool within an already established center of excellence in the UK.
As well as spotting and attracting a new generation of tech talent, we’re keen to nurture a passion for IT and instill a dedication to customer service. There’s a lot of knowledge within Servium that we’re ready and waiting to impart – from the wealth of experience in the management team to the technical and sales expertise across the company.
A truly modern workforce
And of course, professional development is something we’re committed to offering across our entire workforce, which is why the apprenticeship opportunities in Basingstoke have been opened up to all Servium employees.
We’re incredibly proud of the diversity within our workforce – 50% female and encompassing a wide range of ages and backgrounds. As such, we sincerely hope that our new hub will continue to attract people from all walks of life who share our love of technology.
Servium CEO, Paul Barlow, added: “Last year, 99% of our customers who were surveyed would recommend us. This new investment in our services capability will ensure that we can support even more businesses with our exceptional IT solutions, as well as nurture the next generation of tech specialists as part of our long-term commitment to the industry. Here’s to the next 15 years of Servium!”
